March 2016 Newsletter

DEAR MEMBERS:

Thank you to Roger LaRue, who spoke at our February CLE on the ever-changing Medicare Secondary Payer Act. At the February CLE, we had two raffle drawings, congratulations to Patrick Murray who won two tickets to the LA Bar Foundation Gala; and to Peter Englande who won two tickets to the Chef Soiree.

Our March CLE will be held at Keith Young’s Restaurant on Friday, March 18th. Our guest speakers will be Robin DeLeo and Heather Alexis, who will speak on “Bankruptcy 101 from the Creditor and Debtor Perspective.” As experienced practitioners from both ends of the spectrum, their insight is bound to be plentiful.

Lunch will start at Noon and the cost is $25; the CLE begins as 12:30 and is $15 for members. Please RSVP to Judy at judy@22ndjdcbar.org if you plan to attend so that we can ensure that we have enough handouts for everyone, the restaurant can have enough food and seating, and we can get started on time.

If you have any questions, concerns or recommendation, please feel free to contact me or one of the other officers.

Elizabeth Sconzert
President
