Details:
Bar members with 6-10 year-olds should arrive and be inside the Justice Center by 8:45am. Your day will include, among other things, a courtroom visit, Q&A with Judge(s), a tour of the KidSense Room, and Storytime.
Upon arrival, please meet under the staircase on the 1st floor. Look for the pelican statue!
Remember that everyone participating (even the youth) should dress in a “court-appropriate” manner- no shorts, torn pants, or sloppy attire. It does stay cool in the building, so layers or a light jacket will be helpful.
While purses and backpacks are allowed, please monitor the kid’s electronics. Use of phones, iPads, earbuds, etc. are not allowed during this visit.
REMEMBER- ALL CHILDREN MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY YOU THROUGHOUT THE WHOLE MORNING.
We will wrap up with lunch and the day will be completed at noon.
