December 2022 Newsletter
Dear Members,
“December – a month of lights, snow and feasts;
time to make amends and tie loose ends;
finish off what you started and hope your wishes come true.”
Well, here we are at this finish line. As my term as President comes to a close, I thank you all for the honor and privilege of serving the 22nd JDC Bar Association this year. This Association is a wonderful organization, in large part, due to our members.
At the beginning of the year, we endeavored to “Refocus, Reconnect and Renew.” Together, we have certainly finished what we started. We returned to our in-person meetings and offered over 24 hours of CLE this year through our monthly and All Day Seminars. This feat would not have been possible without our all of our guest presenters as well as the attendees – thank you!
Given the overwhelming support of our members this year, I am happy to announce that the Christmas Party on December 15th will now be free of charge to members and guests! If you have already RSVP’d and paid for a guest to attend, please contact Judy at judy@22ndjdcbar.org so that she can issue you a refund.
Our last office connect point for the year will be a “Coffee and Connect with Division K” on Friday, December 9th. All members are invited to attend. Please see the invite below for more information.
I look forward to seeing Colin Sims installed as our 2023 President and what he has in store for us in the new year. Please continue to give him your support with our various program and event in the coming year.
Finally, and as we head into the holiday season, I want to personally offer best wishes to each of our members and the 22nd JDC community. May we take this time to consider those less fortunate and do what we can for them. I wish for each of you a better 2023 and a healthy, safe and prosperous holiday season and New Year!
My best,
Bailey Morse
President

Thanks to your support this year the Bar Association is able to offer this Party free of charge to our members and one guest.
