Associate Attorney
Gaven Brooks is a dedicated and accomplished new graduate attorney at Oriol Law Firm. He graduated from LSU Paul M. Hebert Law Center (LSU Law School) towards the top of his class, demonstrating his commitment to academic excellence. During his law school career, Gaven was awarded two CALI Awards for achieving the highest grades in his classes in Family Law and Criminal Law.
Gaven brings valuable experience from both the legal and political arenas. He has worked under Honorable Judge Guy Holdridge at the 1st Circuit Court of Appeal, gaining insights into appellate law and judicial processes. Additionally, he has experience working under United States Senator Bill Cassidy, where he engaged with legislative processes and public policy. Gaven also served under Honorable Judge Patrice W. Oppenheim at the 22nd Judicial District Court, further honing his legal skills and understanding of the judicial system.
