I hope everyone had a safe and happy 4th of July!

Thank you to Judge Reginald Badeaux who spoke at our June CLE.

Our next CLE will be at 1 p.m. on July 16th via Zoom and our speaker will be the Domestic Violence Hearing Officer Ernest Anderson who will speak on “Practice and Procedure in Protective Orders and La C.C.P.-Art 3945 Hearings”.

The cost for members is $15 and $25 for non-members. Please click on the link below to register and pay for the CLE. You will receive the Zoom log-in link with your paid receipt. The deadline to register for this CLE is 11:00 a.m. on July 16th.

Investiture Ceremony

The 22nd Judicial District Court’s newly elected judges invite you to their Investiture Ceremony on Thursday, July 22, 2021, at 5:00 pm in the Misdemeanor Courtroom at the St. Tammany Justice Center. CLICK HERE to see the invitation.

Additionally, the Washington Parish Ceremony will be held on the morning of September 10, 2021, so save the date.

CASA TRAINING

Youth Service Bureau (YSB) Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) are trained citizens who are assigned by our judges to represent the best interest of an abused and neglected child in court. July-August will be our first daytime training!
