HAPPY NEW YEAR:

The Bar Association officers this year are myself, Roy Burns, III, President, Bailey Morse, Vice President; Collin Sims, Treasurer; and Judy Walz, Executive Director.

Due to the COVID restrictions in place at this time the Association will host CLE’s via ZOOM only; we will not host any All Day CLE’s, nor have any of the sub-sections, as done in previous years. Hopefully, these will return next year. We will continue to keep you updated on all pertinent information through email.

Our Zoom CLEs are always on the third Friday of the month, January through November. The one-hour CLE begins at 1:00 p.m. and the cost is $15. For non-members, the cost is $25. For the convenience of our members, you can view all our monthly Zoom CLE’s for a one-time payment of $100.

CLEs
Our first CLE of the year is January 15th via Zoom. Newly elected Judges John Keller, Ellen Creel and Patti Oppenheim will be the speakers and the topic is “Expectations and Visions for 2021”.

The cost for members is $15 and $30 for non-members. Please click on the link below to register and pay for the CLE. You will receive the log-in link with your paid receipt. The deadline to register for this CLE is 9:00 a.m. on January 15th.

MEMBERSHIP
Your 2021 membership is now due, the cost is only $70 (look for ways to get a discount price on your membership form). Please click on the link below to pay on-line or print out the form and mail it in with payment. You will be mailed a blue membership card once payment is received; the yellow membership card will no longer be good after January 31st.

WEBSITE LISTING
Our website is not only the place to quickly look up everything going on in our Association, but is also our attorney referral source. The Bar Association receives many calls from the public and this is where we send them to find an attorney; as well as other attorneys who may be looking for you. So, please fill out the on-line form to be included; this must be done every year to keep it current.

Basic Listing: Lists your name, phone number and address and is free with your current membership dues. This information must be filled out by you.

Premium Listing: Lists your name, phone, address, link to website and area of practice, and is only $50 per year. (look for ways for a discount price on your membership form).

HELP SUPPORT YOUR LOCAL BAR ASSOCIATION

In an effort to increase revenue for the Bar Association and continue with our events and community outreach, we have two ways you can help:
