Dear Members,
We are so THANKFUL for you this Thanksgiving Season!

The Thanksgiving season always has us thinking about the many things in our lives we are grateful for and finding new ways to express that gratitude. This year, we at the 22nd JDC Bar Association are incredibly grateful for a community of supportive members who understand the value each of us brings to our profession and the clients we serve. We extend sincere gratitude to our presenters who have graciously given of their time to invest in our Association. Together we will have offered over 24 hours of CLE credit in 2022! And no appreciation post would be complete without a heartfelt note of thanks to Judy Walz, our Executive Director, who keeps this train on its track. Without her, none of what we have accomplished this year would have been remotely possible.

With that, I am extremely happy to announce the return of our Annual All Day CLE Program on November 18th at Beau Chene Country Club in Mandeville. This 6.5 hour seminar (including Professionalism and Ethics) will be our final CLE offering for 2022. I hope you are able to join us!

But that’s not it…

November may host our final learning event of the year, but our celebrations will continue well into the holiday season. Mark your calendars and jingle down Lee Lane for our annual Christmas Party on Thursday, December 15th at Meribo in Downtown Covington! Because of your continued support of our Association, we are able to offer this event free of charge to our members (a minimal charge of $25.00 will apply to all guests or non-members). Please see the invitation below for more details.

Finally, and on a personal note, special thanks to each of you for helping to fill my cup this year. I have gained new perspective and appreciation for the work of this Association and our members. I have appreciated getting to know many of you on a deeper level and you all have reminded me of the importance of service.

Our annual Christmas Party will again be held at Meribo 326 Lee Lane, Covington.
It will be held on December 15th from 7-10.

Thanks to your support this year the Bar Association is able to offer this Party free of charge to our members and a minimal cost of $25 per guest.

This is a great time to get together and reflect on the year we have had and the many blessings we are given.
