Dear Members

If you’re like me, you find yourself welcoming summer and wishing it away in the same breath. Summer brings long days, cool pools, beautiful sunsets. It also delivers its fair share of scorching temperatures, vicious humidity and loads of stress, especially for those of us navigating our profession, parenthood and personal lives.

With that in mind, I invite you to join us on Friday, June 17th at Beau Chene Country Club, 602 N. Beau Chene Dr, in Mandeville, LA for our June meeting and CLE. We will be joined by Dr Angela White-Bazile of the Judges and Lawyers Assistance Program who will present “Self-Care is a Pertinent Pause for Practitioners.”

Lunch service featuring a Chef’s Choice* selection will begin at Noon and the cost is $28. The cost of the CLE is $15 for members, $25 for non-members. *Chef’s choice includes soup or salad, entree with two sides, dessert, coffee/tea/water.

The New Orleans FBA is partnering with the 22nd JDC Bar Association to host a free CLE titled “The State versus Federal Rules of Civil Procedure” on August 2, in the 22nd JDC Misdemeanor Court Room, beginning at 9 a.m.
