Dear Members:

Thank you to Judge Alan Zaunbrecher who spoke at our March CLE. Our next CLE will be at 1 p.m. on April 16th via Zoom and our speaker will be Judge Scott Gardner. Judge Gardner will speak on “Professionalism: The Bar and Bench Respond to Families in Crisis”.

The cost for members is $15 and $25 for non-members. Please click on the link below to register and pay for the CLE. You will receive the Zoom log-in link with your paid receipt. The deadline to register for this CLE is 11:00 a.m. on April 16th.

• If you paid for the annual CLEs, please let Judy know you would like to view this CLE and the link will be emailed to you the day before the CLE.

MEMBERSHIP

If you have not paid your 2021 membership dues yet, they are now due, the cost is $75, after March 1st. Please click on the link below to pay on-line or print out the form and mail it in with payment. You will be mailed a blue membership card once payment is received.

WEBSITE LISTING

The Bar Association website is not only the place to quickly look up everything going on in our Association, but is also our attorney referral source. The Bar Association receives many calls from the public and this is where we send them to find an attorney; as well as other attorneys who may be looking for you. So, please fill out the on-line form to be included; this must be done every year to keep it current.

Basic Listing: Lists your name, phone number and address and is free with your current membership dues. This information must be filled out by you.

Premium Listing: Lists your name, phone, address, link to website and area of practice, and is only $50 per year. (look for ways for a discount price on your membership form).

HELP SUPPORT YOUR LOCAL BAR ASSOCIATION

In an effort to increase revenue for the Bar Association and continue with our events and community outreach, we have two ways you can help:

1.IPAD RAFFLE
We will have a raffle for an Apple iPad. This iPad will be donated by Roy Burns, Jr. Tickets can be purchased by clicking on the link below. Tickets are $20 each or 3 for $50. The drawing will be during the April Zoom CLE. Good luck and thank you for your participation.

ENTER RAFFLE 2. ADVERTISING
We will feature several attorneys on our website each month. There are 5 available spots each month. This advertising will be seen by website visitors and anyone looking for an attorney. The Bar Association receives many calls requesting referrals for attorneys, we send them to our website. Your firm could be one of the first things seen when our website is visited.
